Justine and Reece - An Intimate Micro Wedding at The Monday Club in San Luis Obispo by Sarah Williams

I think October might be one of my favorite months when it comes to being a San Luis Obispo Wedding Photographer (it's definitely one of the busiest!). The light is always beautiful, the weather is fantastic, and the sky is usually speckled with gorgeous clouds. It was the last weekend in October when Justine and Reece said "I Do" at The Monday Club in San Luis Obispo - and indeed it was gorgeous. Justine and Reece fully embraced the intimate micro wedding trend - their guest list was small, but the love in the air was BIG. The day they planned fit them perfectly!

I arrived at the venue with enough time to photograph Justine putting on the finishing touches of lipstick and dress and also managed to grab a few photographs of Reece hanging out with his groomsmen as they all anxiously awaited ceremony time. And when that time came, I can definitely say this was one of those weddings where I got tears in my eyes. The way Reece looked at Justine was so beautiful, and the words they said to each other as they held hands before their most important "people" were emotional and sweet.

After the ceremony, as the sun was beginning to set, we took some time out for their incredible Couples Portraits. Working with these two was so fun and so easy - they just naturally looked so much in love. I relished in every little giggle and hug and sweet kiss they gave one another. This was their "perfect day", and, as I do with all of my clients, I wanted to make sure I did everything possible to capture the essence of "them".
