"Trust the Process" - It sounds easy enough, right? But what does it really mean and how do you actually do it?
When it comes to booking your Boudoir Session, for most of you it's going to be a step outside of your comfort zone. I completely understand that, and everything that I do from booking to delivering your amazing images is designed to make this process as easy, affirming, inspirational and fun as possible. In order to do this, I only really ask one thing of your as a client...to trust the process.
Inevitably, there will be times, before you book, after you've booked, or when you're in the studio getting into the poses that I demonstate for you, when you think to yourself "there's no way this is going to turn out well". It's natural to have doubts, because, as women, we are constantly bombarded with things that are almost designed to MAKE us doubt ourselves. It's also natural to have fears and anxiety, those emotions are completely valid.
One thing that I can promise you is that things get easier each step of the way. It's nerve wracking to BOOK your Session, but when you do, you feel a little better about things. It's scary at first to look for outfits, but with the help that I give to you with my Wardrobe Guide and in my VIP Group, you'll start to realize that it's actually kind of fun! You will probably feel anxious the morning of your Session before coming to the studio, but as soon as you walk in the door you're going to feel SO much more comfortable. So, you can see that each step you take toward your goal gets easier and when you finally SEE your amazing images after your Session you're going to be completely blown away.
Trusting the process is realizing that you've done your part, you've taken all of the information given to you, you've seen all of the testimonials of my incredible Boudoir Clients, you've seen the photographs of other amazing Ladies, you've drooled over the Before and After shots that I share, and now it's time to leave things to me! I've GOT YOU, 100%.
Give yourself the gift and grace of self-acceptance. Give yourself the credit you deserve for saying "I'm WORTH IT" and doing something that you truly want to do. Don't dwell on the "what if's" and instead focus on the "what-will-be's". If you trust the process, you're going to have an incredible time, you're going to look amazing when you see yourself after hair and makeup, you're going to have so much fun getting told how beautiful you are, and you're going to be completely awed by youself when you see your photographs.
