Edith and Kyle are one of the lovliest couples that I have met recently. The Central Coast holds a special place in their hearts, as this is where he asked and she said "Yes", and is also the place that they chose for their wedding later this year (it's my honor to be their wedding photographer as well). They traveled up from Southern California, just before one of the first big storms of the year was supposed to hit, for their engagement session. The first day, we were rained out, but in true Central Coast form, the very next day, the skies were crisp and clear and we took advantage of this time to spend a magical morning at Spooner's Cove at Montana de Oro in Los Osos.
We met early and were greeted with swollen seas, high tides and an incredibly blue ocean. We began at the top of the cliffs, moved down to the historic farmhouse and then eventually found our way to the shore. Waves crashed, we all laughed and these two showed such an incredible love for one another that I found myself swooning both while taking their photos and again while editing them. Minus one tiny mishap where a shoe was nearly dragged off into the raging sea (Kyle to the rescue on that one), this was a perfect day! Love is truly the answer to all of the important questions in life, and these two showed that with such ease and grace.
