When Cassidy and Anna Mae first contacted me to photograph their Engagement Session I was SO excited.  They are both such amazing individuals, and together they truly are magic.  I could tell from the very first message how in love there were and how much they were looking forward to their wedding.  It was very important for Cassidy and Anna Mae to be comfortable with the photographer for their wedding, so we decided to do their Engagement Session and go from there.  We had a fabulous time and absolutely clicked as Photographer and Clients.  We laughed, joked, played and captured so many incredible images. I was so happy that after they saw their amazing Engagement Photographs, they quickly booked me for their wedding next Spring at The Monday Club in SLO!

Cassidy and Anna Mae chose Montana de Oro for their Engagement Session because that was where Anna Mae proposed to Cassidy. We even managed to find the exact spot where Cassidy said "Yes" and included it in their Session. Watching these two giggle and kiss, hold hands and be playful with each other was so beautiful!

After getting some incredible photographs on the cliffs above Spooner's Cove, we moved down to the beach. Cassidy and Anna Mae were so naturally in sync with each other, and even though they were worried about posing, they needed very little direction to bring out their playful and romantic natures.

Working with same sex couples for Engagement Sessions and Weddings is something I absolutely love to do. It's extra important to me that I showcase all of the beautiful sides of their love - romantic, playful, fun, serious, etc. - in a way that they are comfortable with.  Being an ally of the community, I'm always learning, and it's so fun to have couples like this one help me continue my journey.  I could not have been happier that these two were up for anything I suggested, because we got some seriously meaningful images!
