Some weddings feel like they’ve been pulled straight from the pages of a novel, and Lindsey & Jamie’s celebration at The Gardens at Peacock Farms was exactly that—a timeless love story wrapped in vintage charm and glamorous touches.
Lindsey and Jamie are two of the most down to earth and amazing people I've had the pleasure of working with. I knew from the beginning that their wedding day was not only going to be perfect, but filled with tons of amazing little personal touches that spoke individually of them both. They chose the Gardens at Peacock Farms as a good mix of both of their personalities. As Lindsey said, "Jamie is not a boots and burlap" kind of guy, so a barn wedding was out. When they found the Gardens, Lindsey fell in love with the many pathways, brick and flowers and that helped to shape their Vintage "Secret Garden" theme.
Lindsey considers herself a "classic contemporary", so she wanted a lot of vintage touches (classic Jaguar for the getaway car, old books, vintage furniture and chandaliers, etc.) and she even managed to fit in a few of Jamie's favorite things, like cufflinks from a video game he loves, Star Wars quotes on the back of their chairs and even a temporary tattoo station for guests (though they were specifically prohibited from using it until after thier posed photographs!). Honestly, this was one of the most beautiful examples of a wedding that truly blends two people.
In the end, this wedding is one I will never forget - there were so many beautiful and emotional moments, from Jaime's special dance with his daughter to sneaking in their dog for a few quick photos (he was in their Engagement Photos, so he had to be at the wedding, even if only for a few minutes).
