Caitlin and Ethan are definitely two people who are simply "meant to be". Their paths crossed when they were in high school, but the timing wasn't right. They both went off in different directions, keeping occasional touch and never expecting that one day their time would come. And it did...when they least expected it. One year ago - on June 13th, 2026 - they got "officially married" in a little ceremony on the beach. Caitlin had just found out she was expecting their first child. They planned it this way, so that a year from that day they could have their "big wedding", and everything went exactly according to plan.
The one thing that stood out to me more than anything - more than the gorgeous venue, amazing food, beautiful dresses, etc. - was how surrounded by love these two incredible people were on their wedding day. When they said "I Do" it was both the culmination of something and the beginning of something else.
