Engagement Session
I met Kayla and Fox at Spooner's Cove on a beautiful misty afternoon. We managed to "find the light" in the gorgeous Los Osos Oaks Reserve, where we had smiles, laughter and tons of fun while shooting ther Engagement Session. We even found time to let "Vinny", their adorable dog, steal the show for a few photos...who doesn't love incorporating the furry family members into such important photographs. I have photographed countless engagements and weddings, and I could tell right away that these two had something special. It was the way they looked at each other, and the way that they quickly and easily adapted to every romantic prompt in my book. Just as easily, though, they were able to have FUN together, even when I asked them to do things that are "head scratchers" for a lot of couples. From the Reserve, we headed toward Montana de Oro and Spooner's Cove, chasing the light for the remainder of their seesion. It was chilly, the ocean was raging, and I even put them into a precarious situation that caused some feet to get wet, but the amazing photographs that truly showcase their connection were well worth it! I can't wait to photograph their wedding at the White Barn in Edna Valley / Arroyo Grande later this year...what fun we're going to have! Congratulations to an amazing couple!
