Jared and Jeffrey contacted me regarding a very small and intimate elopement. They live in New York, but wanted to say their vows in California...luckily for me, on the Central Coast. These are two of the sweetest and most kind men that I have ever met, and their love for one another was apparent even through our email correspondence. The day came and we began with a beautiful early morning "pre-wedding" shoot on the beach in Pismo, and at 4:00 I met them at the gorgeous San Marcos Creek Vineyard in Paso Robles. As it turned out, my assistant and I, and the officiant, were the only ones in attendance to see their union. I actually had the pleasure and honor of signing their marriage liscense as a witness and sharing some of their delicious wedding cake! Being part of the LGBTQ community was difficult for them when planning their day, including finding a wedding photographer, bakery to provide a cake, etc. I personally jumped at the chance! Love is love, and this was a day brimming with it!
